24. Excel How to delete every other row ?


Consider the following list of cities. We want to delete every second row of this list, i.e. rows 3, 5, 7, 9, etc....

Proceed as follows:

1 - Write in cell C3 "delete"

2 - Select the range of cells C2:C3 and copy this range by Autofill to the last line of your sheet.

3 - Then filter column C with the value "delete".

4 - Select all filtered rows and delete them.

5 - Cancel the filter. Also delete the utility column C.
